Lily Dale: The True Story of the Town That Talks to the Dead by Christine Wicker

AWARD WINNING JOURNALIST and author Christine Wicker ventured to Dr. Lauren's summer home of Lily Dale, NY, which her husband Ed calls "psychic summer camp," a few years ago.

One of the dozens of people Wicker interviewed, and one of the registered mediums she notes as helping clients (and herself) with profound change, is Dr. Lauren.

The stories of three women changed by their encounters with Lily Dale are interwoven with accounts of the mediums, visitors, and peculiar history of Lily Dale. The lakeside town was a haunt (so to speak) of the famous Mae West, who was rumored to have had a medium-boyfriend in the lakeside hamlet.
